Hidden Disabilities
The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is here every day of the year to support people living with non-visible disabilities in their communities. It is a simple tool for you to share that you have a hidden disability voluntarily. Simply by wearing the Sunflower, you’re just letting everyone know that you might need extra help, understanding, or just more time.
ACD TAS
ACD Tas is a peer-led not-for-profit disability specialist family organisation. Established in 1998 by a group of parents of children with disability who recognised the need for a professional state-wide family advocacy organisation, today ACD Tas offers independent: information & training, advocacy, consultancy, case coordination and peer groups.
National Assistance Card
The National Assistance Card is a personalised Card to assist people with disability and health conditions in the community.
The National Assistance Card can:

Advocacy Tasmania
Advocacy Tasmania is a non-profit, non-government advocacy and rights information service.
Systems and services can be very complex and trying to fix a problem or make a complaint can feel overwhelming. That’s when their advocates can help.
Their advocates know all about the aged, disability, mental health, and alcohol & drugs sectors and they can provide information and work at their client’s direction to resolve concerns.
Butterfly
Butterfly Foundation is the national charity for anyone in Australia impacted by eating disorders and body image issues, as well as the families, friends and communities who support them.
Butterfly changes lives by providing innovative, evidence-based support services, treatment and resources, delivering prevention and early intervention programs and advocating for the needs of our community.
Neurodivergent Ally
Adelle is a clinical psychologist and Neurodivergent Ally came about because she was frustrated by the lack of neuro-affirming resources for therapists, schools, and families. She is a the developer of the Spoon Savers Cards and has freebies to help you be neuro-affirming on her website.
Living Spicy
Hayley is a 35 year old Tasmanian who has a website of resources to help navigate life with misaphonia, describing herself as "spicy, nostalgic, a tad anxious, wine in hand, navigating the noise that comes with misophonia, letting my heart lead the way through all of life’s twists and turns."
